The Visovac Monastery is a Christianity monastery on the island of Visovac in the Krka Soul Parcel, Hrvatska. Visovac was decreed by Augustinian monks, who official a teentsy monastery and church dedicated to the Disciple Missionary in the 14th century.In 1445 the Friar monastery was enlarged and adapted by the Franciscans who prescribed here having reserved from parts of Bosnia with added, nondescript grouping, when the Turks had assumed over there.
A new monastery was improved in the 18th century. The lavish monastery collection includes peculiarly rarified incunabula of Aesop's fables printed by the Lastovo printer Dobric Dobricevic a compendium of documents and a brand belonging to Vuk ManduĊĦic, one of the best-loved heroes of Serb epos poetry. It is part of the Franciscan Province of the Most Holy Redeemer based in Split.
